Don't waste your time. It isn't going to happen. Besides affecting performance and stability, those Flash crashes are often associated with security holes. If Apple wants to offer reliable "appliance" type mobile devices, it is better that they control areas affecting security.

I don't want flash on my iPod (and when I have it, my iPad).
I think Apple is doing the right thing - flash would make these devices slow and unstable. And I'd have to recharge my iPod more than once a week when I use it to browse the web.
On top of all of that, any sort of concerted campaign to do something like this is nearly impossible to coordinate without some underlying economic force driving the companies to action. With flash, this is not going to happen (and as I've said above, it's a good thing, too!). |
